Center-Based Program:
This program supports families with children 6 weeks-3 years old with high-quality child care and family services. Families must have a child care subsidy or city funding to participate and must be working or participating in an employability or job-search program. There is usually a parent share (co-pay). EHS pays for 45% of the parent share. Our 5-star centers are licensed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are open 5 days per week, 12 months of the year. Each center has a Center-based Family Support Specialist that meets with families quarterly.

Home-based Program:
Each Family is assigned a Family Advocate that meets with families in their home weekly for 90 minutes. They provide weekly parent/child activities to foster child development and support parents as primary teachers. Socialization with parent and child activities are offered twice per month. Home-based EHS is open to pregnant moms and families with children ages 0-3. Priority for enrollment is given to first-time moms, and first-time parents with infants 0-3 months.

Child Care Partnership Program:
This Program was designed to enhance the quality of child care for children ages 6 weeks-3 years old in our service area. We partner with local child care programs to provide Early Head Start services to their enrolled families. Families need to have a child care subsidy in order to qualify.
